Founder & Owner
J K Lovelace, an award-winning fine art landscape and astronomy photographer, founded Slice of Light Gallery LLC in 2023. He hopes to carve a name out for himself and the genre of fine art photography. He also hopes to bring more awareness to the beauty and uniqueness of astrophotography.
What We Offer
Metal Prints
Our most popular products are our ChromaLuxe Aluminum prints. We offer a range of sizes from 13" to 96" widths and beyond! Contact us for custom sizing.
Your purchase of one of our limited edition metal prints includes a custom mounted frame; on every product page you can select between the three most popular frame styles we offer.
When you purchase one of our limited edition prints you also receive a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist that protects you and your artwork against fraud as the artwork appreciates in value over time.
Giclée Prints
We also offer limited edition rolled metallic giclée prints of archival quality. These prints come with a white border to assist with framing and mounting.
We have partnered with Roma Moulding™ to offer a select range of high-end frames that we feel best suit our prints. You can opt for an additional black liner and plexiglass cover as well. Learn more at the link below.

Fine Art Consultations
Sometimes it can be frustrating trying to make the perfect choice, especially if you can't visualize what exactly the artwork will look like in your space. To solve this issue, we offer free fine art consultations.
How it works:
You will send us an email with at least one photo of your wall or space, and then we will send you a digital mockup of the exact size or sizes you requested.

Local Print Installations
If your space is located within or near the greater Santa Barbara area, we offer a professional delivery and installation service. Chat with one of our attendants to see if your address qualifies for this service.
Local Delivery
A convenient and less costly alternative to shipping your artwork to your address via freight. If you live in Santa Barbara, you can choose to have your artwork delivered to our store for pickup, or we can personally deliver it to your address. Chat with one of our attendants to see if either of these alternatives would be the right fit for you.
